Having a baby is one of the most rewarding experiences in your life. At Anderson Hills Pediatrics, we are committed to keeping your baby healthy.
The professional team at Anderson Hills Pediatrics provides the quality care your child needs and the advice and counsel you want. Our pediatricians are all board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Prenatal Visits
We encourage new parents to attend one of our prenatal classes. This visit allows expectant parents to learn more about our practice and will give you the opportunity to meet us.
Lactation Consultant
Anderson Hills Pediatrics is pleased to be able to offer highly trained lactation consultants as part of the total care for our new mothers and their babies. Our consultants are Anderson Hills Pediatrics’ nurses who have completed extensive training allowing them to work closely with mothers to ensure each baby receives the proper nourishment. This will include assistance with breast feeding and other forms of feeding. Our consultants will meet with each mother and her baby at the first office visit.
Hospitals
Our practice welcomes babies born at all area hospitals. If you deliver at Mercy Hospital - Anderson, one of our pediatricians will examine your baby in the hospital and discuss newborn care. Please tell the hospital staff that you have chosen our practice so they can contact us when your baby arrives. If you deliver your baby at another hospital, it's nursery pediatrician will provide care for your newborn while you are at the hospital. You will be given a summary of your baby’s medical records to bring to your first visit at our office. Please call our office while you are still in the hospital to arrange your child’s first visit. We like to see newborns 2 to 3 days after they leave the hospital.
